Our Fixed Pulveriser Hire FAQs

Learn more about our fixed pulveriser hire here with our FAQs.

01 I’m a new customer looking for fixed pulveriser hire, what is the process with Chippindale?

If you’re a new customer to Chippindale, welcome! To get the process started, simply select “Enquire Now” next to the fixed pulveriser hire machinery you’re interested in, give us a call or drop into one of our depots between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. We will answer any questions you might have, tell you a bit about us and then we can start to put together your hire plan. Whether you would like some guidance on the right fixed pulveriser for you from our experts, or you know what you want and are ready for the fixed pulveriser hire to be arranged, that’s no problem. We can also arrange any other hire you need, from other excavator attachments to completely separate machinery like our telehandlers, or our power tool and site cabin hire. We have the experience and industry-leading machinery to make your project a success, no matter what that entails.

Once you are happy with the fixed pulveriser hire plan in place, we can start the new account setup:

The first step is to fill out a new customer form, along with providing us with your hired-in insurance. If you don’t have this currently, don’t worry, as we can provide it for an additional 20% charge.

We will then assign your account manager. All of our team know our machinery through and through, and they will get to know your project in just as much detail. They will be available to help with any requirements or questions throughout, whether it’s a quick phone call or a visit to the site.

On the arrange date, we will deliver all of your plant hire equipment, including your fixed pulveriser hire, to site. An engineer will be there to calibrate the attachment to the excavator, ensuring you’re cooking with gas before we leave.

If it would be useful, we can provide live-hire reports and invoicing information. We tend to see that this is particularly helpful for larger construction projects.

Lastly, once you’ve finished with the fixed pulveriser hire equipment, simply give us a call and we will come to collect everything. You don’t need to let us know in advance, as we know projects can run over.

We hope that you then return to us as a customer in the future!

02 What different fixed pulverisers do you have?

We have a range of different sized fixed pulverisers available that are compatible with different sized excavators, all from the industry-leading Trevi Benne. Our fixed pulverisers to hire are suitable for excavators from 6 tonnes up to 25 tonnes. They are all highly durable and very efficient, so you can make your demolition deadlines quicker. The smaller fixed pulverisers to hire are ideally suited to projects that require manoeuvrability, with the larger being well suited to processing large quantities of demolished material in an efficient manner.

03 Can your fixed pulverisers to hire be attached to any excavator?

Yes, our fixed pulverisers available to hire can be attached to any excavator. We have a range of different sized pulverisers that will suit excavators between 6 and 25 tonnes, then we also have a variety of head brackets to ensure we can fit all excavators. So, whether you want to use your own excavator, or utilise our excavator hire, we can find the right solution for you.

04 What makes Chippindale different for fixed pulveriser hire?

This, combined with the experience and passion of our team, provides a fantastic plant hire experience overall.

We started as a very small family business in the 1950’s and although we have grown significantly, our core family values are at the centre of everything we do, which is a big part of our history. You’ll never speak to pushy sales people, but a great team who just want to help you find the right solution for your project. They’re also generally good people who are great to have a cuppa and proper biscuit with!
