Major Manchester Depot & Infrastructure Upgrades

After 4 years of building up strong customer relations in the Manchester region, we have decided to invest heavily in the area to try to bring our infrastructure up to the next level and to try to push the boundaries of plant hire in the region.

We wanted to create a depot that was easy to use, pleasant to visit from a customer perspective and wasn’t just a yard for storage. We first tackled this by completing a full exterior revamp including new cladding, new shutters and a full repaint. The interior hasn’t been left alone either, we have stripped out the inside’s and knocked a few walls down to create a new large open hire area with a custom built hire counter.

In addition to this, we completed a full IT upgrade within the depot, featuring new computer hardware throughout and better systems. This will allow our hire managers and workshop staff to much quicker and more effectively serve the Manchester public (yes we’ve been timing!).

Back in 2017, we made the statement that we would be focusing our efforts on consolidating and strengthening our current depot network to deliver further infrastructure upgrades to our customers. This much-needed upgrade at our Manchester depot is yet another part of that plan and should allow us to better our response times, improve your service and give us the capability to further our lead as the best in the region.
