Learn More About The Welder Hire Process

Check out our most frequently asked questions below about our welder hire, or get in touch with our expert team who will always be ready to help! Explore our full range of construction tool hire if you require other options for your project.

01 What is the welder hire process like for new customers?

If you’re interested in welder hire, simply press “Add To Quote Form” along with any other hire machinery, or you can give us a call to start the process if you’d prefer. You’ll be in touch with one of our expert team who can either just arrange the hire process for you if you know exactly what you need, or they can advise on the right choices for your project if that would be helpful.

After this, we start the new account setup:

You’ll need to fill out a new customer account form, along with showing evidence of your hired-in plant insurance. If you don’t already have this, we can arrange it for you at an additional 20% charge.

We will then introduce you to your account manager, who will be available throughout your arc welder hire, to answer any questions. They’ll be on the other end of the phone whenever you need. Your account manager will help to finalise your welding hire plan.

During your welding hire, we’re happy to send over live-hire reporting and invoicing information if it’s useful, which is usually the case on larger projects.

Once you’ve finished with the welder for hire, simply call us, we will pause all charges and then collect the equipment. We don’t ask for an end-date for your hire as we know that projects regularly run over. After a debrief with your account manager, we’d hope to work with you again in the future.

02 Why choose Chippindale for welding hire?

At Chippindale, something that makes us unique is our approach to customer service. When you get in touch with us, you’ll speak to our expert team, never salespeople. They know our business through and through and really believe in our core family values, so are simply there to help find the right arc welder hire solution for you.

We also invest heavily in our machinery, and our welding hire is no exception. All of our welder hire tools are extremely safe, reliable and powerful, so you access the best quality results, along with ensuring the handler is safe when it’s used correctly. We have been in the plant and tool hire industry for over 70 years, and have seen the machinery we use today evolve, so we know what it takes to provide the very best experience for our customers.

03 What are some key features of the arc welder hire tools?

Our welding hire tools are lightweight, compact and portable, making them ideally suited for transporting around site and between jobs. They work on dirty metal and there is no shielding of gas necessary. Different types of arc welders are well suited to different projects, so if you’re unsure on the right choice for your welding hire, get in touch with our team and they’ll be able to advise.
