Our Concrete Skip Hire FAQs
Find our more about our Chippindale's concrete skip hire process here.
01 What is the concrete skip hire process like for new customers?
If you’re interested in our concrete skip hire, either on its own or with other attachments, all you need to do is select “Enquire Now” by any skip. You will fill out a form with contact details that we will use to get in touch with you, or you can give us a call straight away. If you prefer to do things in person, just drop into one of our depots between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
We can either provide you with additional information if you need help deciding on the right concrete skip for the project, or if you know what you’re looking for, we can start to arrange the hire. We also have a full fleet of plant hire machinery, power tools hire and site cabins to hire, so if you require any other equipment, we can arrange a full solution.
Once you’re happy with the plan in place, we can start your new account set up:
Firstly, you will fill out a new customer form and provide us with your hired-in plant insurance. Don’t worry if you don’t already have this, we can arrange it for you at an additional 20% charge.
We will then introduce your account manager, who will know your concrete skips hire through and through. Any questions throughout, you can give them a call or they can come to site if needed.
On the arranged day in your hire plan, we will deliver your concrete skip and any other machinery. We always make sure everything is running smoothly before you leave, and if you have any questions throughout, your account manager will be available.
Throughout the concrete skip hire process, we can send live-hire reports and invoicing information if it would be helpful, which it tends to be for larger projects.
Once you’re finished with the concrete skip hire, simply give us a call, we will pause all charges, then come to collect as soon as possible. There’s no need to let us know in advance when you’ll be finished with the concrete skip, as we know projects can run over.
Once the concrete skip hire is complete, we hope to work with you again in the future!
02 What size concrete skips are available to hire?
We have 500 litre and 100 litre concrete skips to hire, efficiently and accurately laying concrete for both smaller and larger construction sites.
03 What machinery can the concrete skips be attached to?
Our concrete skips to hire can be attached to any telehandler, excavator, crane or appropriate lifting device. Once attached, the skip can be laid down horizontally to allow the truck to pour concrete directly inside. When it’s full, it can be lifted into a vertical position and moved to above where you will be laying the concrete.
04 Why choose Chippindale for concrete skip hire?
The main thing that sets us apart at Chippindale, aside from our consistent investment in industry-leading machinery, is our passionate and expert team. Every single member of the Chippindale team across our depots was hired based on a passion for what they do, as well as some of the industry’s best knowledge.
