02 What’s the trailer hire process?

Once you have enquired, our team will contact you at the nearest available time. New customers are required to set up an account with us before proceeding with the trailer hire, as well as provide evidence of the relevant plant hire insurance. This can be provided by us for an additional 20% charge, which will add 1-2 days to the process.

The details of the hire can then be discussed and the delivery will be scheduled for a time and date that best suits your project. We will also provide you with guidance during the hire to help you better understand the equipment, including the initial setup and testing of the trailers from a trained engineer.

When you’re finished with the trailer, get in touch with us and we will collect the equipment at a time that is convenient for you. We will then get feedback from you regarding the process.

03 What types of trailers are available for hire?

We have both roller and plant trailers for hire at Chippindale. Our plant trailers come in both mini and maxi, with maxi having a higher payload capacity and dimensions, making it perfect for those larger equipment transfers. The roller trailers are best suited for smaller vehicles, including vans, cars and 4x4s. Before we deliver any of these trailers, we ensure that they are efficient, reliable and safe so everything runs smoothly with your hire.

04 How far does Chippindale deliver trailers?

With our trailer hire, we ensure that deliveries can be made across the North of England, including Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and more.
