How long your Stihl AK battery lasts depends on the battery model and the tool it is used to power. To give you an idea, a Stihl AK 20 battery can power a cordless chainsaw for up to an hour.
02 What is the difference between Stihl AK 10, 20 and 30?
Stihl AK batteries come with different capacities. The higher the number, the higher the capacity of the battery. The Stihl AK 10 battery is recommended for tools that require less power such as small trimmers. For tools that use more power, consider the Stihl AK 20 battery or the Stihl AK 30 battery.
03 What tools can I use a Stihl AK battery with?
Stihl AK batteries can be used to power tools from the Stihl AK range. The Stihl AK range includes cordless tools such as the RMA 235 Cordless Lawn Mower, the BGA 57 Cordless Leaf Blower and the MSA 60 C-B Cordless Chainsaw. All Stihl AK batteries are interchangeable.
04 How long does it take to charge a Stihl AK battery?
The time it takes to charge a Stihl AK battery depends on the battery and charger used. Using a Stihl AL 101 battery charger, a 36V Stihl AK 10 battery will be fully charged in around 95 minutes. The Stihl AL 301 Quick Charger would charge the same Stihl AK 10 battery in approximately 45 minutes.
