01 How long do Stihl AP batteries last?
The life of a Stihl AP battery depends on the Stihl AP tools that it is used with. Different batteries also have different run times. For example, the Stihl AP 500 S runs for longer than the Stihl AP 300 S. To give you an idea, an AP200 battery would charge a BGA 86 cordless blower for around 17 minutes while a Stihl AP 300 battery would charge the same device for 21 minutes.
02 What is the difference between Stihl AP 300 S and AP 500 S?
The main difference between the Stihl AP 300 S and the Stihl AP 500 S is output and power. The Stihl AP 500 S is around 40% more powerful than the 300 S. It also has a longer battery life and is compatible with more Stihl AP tools compared to the Stihl AP 300 S.
03 What Stihl AP tools can I use a Stihl AP battery with?
The majority of tools in the Stihl AP range can be powered by any Stihl AP battery. However, different batteries are recommended depending on which Stihl AP tools are being used. 04 How long does it take to charge a Stihl AP battery?
There are a range of different chargers available to charge your Stihl AP battery. A Stihl AL 101 battery charger takes around 180 minutes to fully charge a Stihl AP 200 battery. Our Stihl AL 500 Hi-speed charger would need around 45 minutes to fully charge the same battery.
