Dan Pearson

With a keen eye for detail, Dan brings a high level of professionalism to the business with years of experience in industry, promoting the brand through a variety of mediums as a part of managing the sales & marketing side of the business while also being in charge of the IT division along with having a close involvement in Operations. Out of work, Dan enjoys nights out, playing golf, adventuring around the world and has been an avid skateboarder for most of his life.

Tony Atack

Tony has worked in the Hire Rental industry for the last 32 years, the last 13 at Chippindale's. He has gained considerable experience building strong businesses, with a focus on the bottom line. His mantra is that; " Good decisions come from experience and experience comes from making bad decisions". When he isn't working Tony loves to build custom motorcycles. He has currently got 6 classic motorbikes from the Italian manufacturer Moto Guzzi awaiting his love and dedication to restore them to their former glory. He claims it keeps him out of mischief! Fun Fact: Tony is no fool despite being born on April 1st and people rarely forget his birthday.

Liam Bestall

David Todd

David started as a driver with Huddersfield Hire Centre in 1984!!! He drove his way to the top eventually becoming the Depot Manager. He continued in this role when the company was taken over by Chippindale in 2004. Integrating his previous Tool Hire experience while grasping the Plant business has helped him develop a Mega Depot in the heart of Huddersfield. Fun Fact: David can be found most weekends with several of the Chippindale Hardcore ale tasters!!

Neil Matthews

Neil first joined the hire industry in 1979, where he worked in tool hire & sales for 18 years before bringing his wealth of expertise over to Chippindale’s in 1997, where he became our Keighley depot manager operating plant hire & sales in the region. Over the years, Neils passion and drive grew the depot into a thriving part of the Chippindale network. More recently, Neil has moved into a regional sales role where his now 43 years of experience have allowed him to add value and build strong, lasting relationships with many businesses and customers. Now covering Keighley, Bradford, Huddersfield, Kirklees and Calderdale areas (hire & sales), Neil is focused on helping customers and building relationships with firms across the region. Out of work Neil has 2 granddaughters that keep him busy and on his toes!

Ian Smith

Ian has been with Chippindale's since 2012 as an outside fitter. He started off as an apprentice 36 Years ago in the Plant Industry. He is very family orientated so when not hard at work he enjoys regular family get together and meals and doing odd-jobs around his home. Fun Fact: He loves dogs and does charity work for the Dog Trust.

Mick Robinson

Starting as an apprentice, Mick progressed into his current position as foreman in 2016. When Mick isn’t managing the workshop at Keighley, he is also a fully trained Stihl technician and looks after sales of Stihl machinery. Fun Fact: Enjoys trial biking & binge drinking (advanced socialising)

John Ellis

John has been with us for 13 years and starting off as an indoor mechanic he has progressed to the heady heights and day release as an outside mechanic. John's extensive experience has spanned over 45 years, starting off as an apprentice based in Leeds. He moved to Keighley as a self-employed mechanic, and after many years of servicing the local community’s vehicles, he decided to turn his hand to the plant hire industry. Fun fact: every bank holiday John can be found on a race track changing wheels & trying to break Ferrari’s pit stop record. Then on a Monday morning ‘trying’ to change a dumper wheel at the same speed!

Andy Hare

Andy has over 15 years experience in the Plant Hire industry. He started working at Chippindale's back in 2014 as a Mobile Plant/Attachment Fitter at the Leeds depot. Through hard work, determination and fantastic Product knowledge he was promoted to Attachment Manager in 2016. Moving from strength to strength, Andy officially took over the position of Leeds depot manager in 2018. When Andy isn't working, he spends most of his time with his family and pets, regularly taking his dog Ellie for walks and also loves Sea Fishing. Fun Fact: Andy has 18 pets!!

Steve Todd

Steve has been in the Hire Industry for over 20 years. He started off as a Fitter/Driver and worked his way up to Regional Account Manager. He loves the challenge and has done so at Chippindale's for the last 15 years. He strives to provide a 1st Class Service and an excellent customer experience. Steve's Mantra "We work as equals, celebrate as a team and make fun of each other face to face!"

I oversee everything that happens in the Newcastle Depot. When not dealing with all my important customers I enjoy walking my Boxer dog and looking after my grand-daughter. Fun Fact: I can juggle tangerines with a full pint pot on my head! However, you will have to ring me to find out how many!!!

Julie Nelson

Julie runs the office, including the hire desk and is in her own words "chief cook and bottle washer". She is a total petrol head and loves to drive fast with the love of her life! No, not her other half... her Porsche Boxster! Fun Fact: She has always been into Plant...s, she is a qualified Florist!

Peter Irving

Peter loves solving problems and enjoys going out to site to resolve issues as they occur. His aim is to reduce your downtime! He loves holidaying abroad - the deeper the tan he can get the better! Fun Fact: He should have been called Tom (Tom).

Anthony Lane

Ant started out as an apprentice trained fitter before being promoted to Workshop Manager. Over the years he has also assisted in operations and workshop system training, but in 2015 Ant took on a new challenge as Area Sales Manager putting his vast product knowledge to the test on the frontline! Fun fact: Ant is an amateur photographer and is always keep to snap new deals and customers.
