01 What does the dumper hire process entail?
If you are interested in dumper hire with Chippindale, simply press “Enquire Now” and a member of our team will be in touch. The hire will be arranged for you, as well as guidance provided if you are unsure which piece of machinery is best suited to your project. At this point, if you require any other plant, tool, attachment or site cabin hire, this will also be arranged.
Once you are happy with the solution, the account set up can begin:
If you’re a new customer, you’ll need to fill out a new account set up form, along with providing evidence of your ‘hired-in plant insurance’. If this isn’t something you have, we can provide HireSecure cover for an additional 20% charge. The set up usually takes 1-2 days, but if you’re working to an urgent timescale, let us know and we’ll do our best to get it sorted!
Now that your account is set up, we will discuss all the details of your dumper hire and provide you with an account manager. They will know everything about your project and are just a phone call away throughout the hire to assist with any questions or requirements.
We will then deliver the dumper hire machinery to your site, after a thorough service is carried out. A trained engineer will set up the equipment for you to make sure everything is running smoothly before leaving. There’s no need to preempt when you’ll be finished with the equipment, just give us a call when you’re ready.
We can provide live hire reports when your hires are ongoing, or any other useful reporting throughout. We find that larger construction sites find this particularly useful. All of our reporting and invoicing is designed to make life as easy as possible.
When you’re finished with the equipment, give us a call and we will come to collect everything, pause all charges and have a debrief to make sure that you are fully satisfied with the experience. The machinery is then returned to our depot for another full service.

When you enquire about dumper hire, you will be put in touch with our expert team who will be able to create you a personalised hire quote utilising multiple items across our hire fleet and/or arrange for a custom price list to be put in place for future hires if you’re a regular hirer. Our plant hire fleet is one of the UK’s largest, featuring everything from excavators to telehandlers and generators to vibrating plates. We are confident that with our fleet and the experience of our team, we will find the right solution for you at a competitive price.
