The STIHL HL 94 C-E is a petrol long reach hedge trimmer, designed for professional work on high hedges.

It features a total height of 242 cm and uses a quick-release adjustment system, allowing the cutter bar to be moved up to 145° left and right. This gives you enough height and angle to make highly precise cuts on most tall hedges.

Manoeuvring this machine at height is also easy due to its comfortable loop handle, shoulder strap carrying system, and multi-function control handle.

Engine speed can also be controlled with STIHL Ecospeed, giving you the ability to alter speed depending on the thickness of vegetation or whether you’re in a noise sensitive environment.

For easy starting, the HL 94 C-E features STIHL’s ErgoStart technology, cutting the required effort to put the starter cord in half – while the manual fuel pump reduces the overall number of starting pulls needed.

Finally, this long reach hedge trimmer uses a STIHL 2-Mix engine, which combines excellent acceleration with low emissions, low fuel consumption, and a lightweight construction.

Stihl 2-mix engine

The Stihl 2-mix engine specially desgined for the new generation of hedge trimmer combines low consumption and emissions with low weight and excellent acceleration. There are also always sufficient power reserves for cutting thicker shrubs.

Stihl ergostart (E)

A genuine advance in easy starting. STIHL ErgoStart (E) cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.

Stihl ecospeed

With the ECOSPEED function, you can use your long reach hedge trimmer in a more economical operating mode. Simply turn the wheel to the minus direction, thereby reducing the maximum engine speed. This keeps your long reach hedge trimmer running at partial load; however, despite this limited setting, you can shift to full capacity when necessary by pressing the throttle lever. Operating at partial load reduces fuel consumption and you can work much longer with one tank.
