The STIHL HS 82 T is a 24” petrol hedge trimmer designed for professional maintenance.

As it is one of STIHL’s T models, it is made for fine cutting and shaping work on hedges and shrubs, and can produce intricate patterns and formal finishes. This is due to its small tooth spacing and lower tooth height, as well as specialised gearing for a high stroke rate.

The blades themselves use a dual ground blade system and are crafted to the highest quality, generating excellent cuts and boosting productivity.

Getting the perfect cutting angle is also really easy with its swivelling handle, which can rotate a full 90° left and right.

Finally, power for this trimmer comes from a STIHL 2-Mix engine. These engines combine excellent acceleration with low weight, low fuel consumption, and low emissions.

Stihl 2-mix engine

The Stihl 2-mix engine specially desgined for the new generation of hedge trimmer combines low consumption and emissions with low weight and excellent acceleration. There are also always sufficient power reserves for cutting thicker shrubs.

Trimming Variation (T)

The T variations of STIHL hedge trimmers provide perfect trimming and shaping of hedges and shrubs. Thanks to the blade shape with smaller tooth spacing and lower tooth height in conjunction with the gearing for a high stroke rate, more specific shapes can also be achieved.

Swivelling multi-function handle

Electronic ignition module

Manual fuel pump (purger)

A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting pulls required following extended breaks in operations.

Anti-vibration system

Intense vibration of at the handles of power tools can lead to long -term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms.
