The STIHL KM 94 RC-E petrol KombiEngine is designed for property maintenance and use on large gardens.

Primarily, the KM 94 RC-E features an advanced anti-vibration system that reduces vibration to an absolute minimum, protecting your hands and arms from injury while making prolonged use much more comfortable.

Its lightweight construction and loop handle make this engine very easy to manoeuvre. It also lends the machine to precise work in confined spaces, which is especially useful if you want to use this KombiEngine for brushcutting or strimming.

It also features STIHL ErgoStart (smooth, easy starting), an economical and low emission 2-Mix engine, and STIHL ECOSPEED for variable speed adjustment, allowing you to adapt your work to varying conditions.

Note: this is the engine unit only; you will need to purchase at least one attachment to make use of it.

Loop handle

The loop handle is ideal for working in confined spaces, eg tidying between shrubs and bushes.

Quick-release coupling

The quick-release coupling allows the KombiSystem to be quickly dismantled into two parts for easy transport and storage - and then re-assembled quickly without tools.

Reduced-emission engine technology

2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.

Features in depth

Simplified starting system

Simply set the choke, pump the fuel primer, pull the starter core and away you go! The running machine then switches off after a brief press of the stop button. Once the machine is at a standstill, the ignition activates again automatically. Thus the ignition is always ready for starting.

Stihl ergostart (E)

A genuine advance in easy starting. STIHL ErgoStart (E) cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.

Manual fuel pump

The manual fuel pump can be used to deliver fuel at the touch of a button. This means that you need less pulls of the starter cord even after long breaks.

Anti-vibration system

Intense vibration of at the handles of power tools can lead to long -term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.

Electronic ignition module

This ensures reliable starting and trouble-free running. The ignition system is fully encapsulated and thus protected from damp and dirt.
