Product Description

The STIHL RM 545 VM is a 17” petrol lawnmower with self-propulsion and mulching function. It is ideal for medium-sized lawns up the 1200m2 and can both cut and collect or mulch.

Because of the Vario self-drive propulsion, physical pushing has become obsolete, resulting in an effortless mowing experience and allowing you to conquer difficult lawns (with steep gradients, for example) with ease.

The Variable speed function can also be used to adapt to various lawn conditions with the flick of a lever on the handlebar.

Moreover, this mower features a generous 60-litre grass catcher box with a fill level indicator. This will allow you to reduce the number of emptying trips, saving you time to mow or mulch.

This mower is also very easy to transport, utilising the foldable handlebar, compact design, and lightweight construction.

Easy start engine (ReadyStart)

Thanks to the ReadyStart technology, the engine of the STIHL petrol lawn mower can be reliably started up with minimal effort both during cold and warm starting.

Vario self-drive

The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the STIHL lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.

Mulching function

During mulching, the mulching blade shreds the mown grass before it falls back into the turf as a nutritional fertiliser. And with the appropriate mulching kit available as an optional accessory for this lawn mower, the machine can also be converted into a Multi-mower.

Multi-blade

FLEXIBLE MOWING AND MULCHING. The multi- blade allows you to mow and mulch without changing the blade. The specially shaped blades shred the cut grass. Then you decide whether the grass should be transported into the collection box via air flow, or further shredded and distributed evenly over the green area to become a nutrient-rich fertiliser.

Fold-open grass catcher box with level indicator

The plastic grass catcher box can be easily opened end emptied thanks to its folding mechanism. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures a high degree of filling. Thanks to the downward- facing vanes, the air is guided sideways towards the ground, preventing dirt from being thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying. The airflow generated by the blade raises the level indicator. When the basket is full, the airflow stops. If the airflow is too low, the level indicator returns to its idle state and this is an indication to empty the catcher box. Optimal airflow is required in order for the level indicator to function fully. External influences such as wet, dense or tall grass, a low cutting height, contamination, etc. may affect the airflow and the performance of the level indicator.

Smooth-running wheels

The easy-running wheels of our cordless lawn mowers are extremely robust and hard-wearing. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and perfect line holding during mowing.

Foldable handlebar

Height-adjustable comfort handlebar

The comfort handlebar is only mounted on one side of the lawn mower, making it easier for you to remove the grass collection box. As the handlebar is height-adjustable, it enables you to mow your lawn comfortably and ergonomically. You can adjust it to your preferred height without using tools. As the handlebar is also foldable, the lawn mower can be compactly stored and transported.

Polymer housing
