Product Description

The STIHL RME 235 is a corded electric lawn mower designed for use on smaller lawns under 300 m2 in size.

Its lightweight construction (only 13 kg) and 10-metre cable make this mower very easy to manoeuvre around any garden, especially around flower beds and bushes. The added hassle of the cable is also lessened with this machine’s integrated cable strain relief system, which ensures that the cable is always securely fastened.

As this mower uses a 1.2 kW electrically powered motor, it produces very low noise levels, making it ideal for noise sensitive environments.

Despite its compact size, this mower can deliver excellent finishes due to its highlift blade technology, which generates a strong air current to lift the grass upright before cutting, ensuring even cuts with maximum efficiency.

Precise cuts can also be achieved with its 5-setting height adjustment, which can be adjusted centrally between 25 and 65 mm.

Highlift blade

The highlift blade gives a precise finish to the lawn and ensures optimal filling of the grass catcher box. The blade creates a strong air current in the housing, which makes the grass stand upright before cutting and effciently carries the clippings into the catcher box using an integrated and powerful air flow system.

Fold-open grass catcher box with level indicator

The plastic grass catcher box can be easily opened end emptied thanks to its folding mechanism. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures a high degree of filling. Thanks to the downward- facing vanes, the air is guided sideways towards the ground, preventing dirt from being thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying. The airflow generated by the blade raises the level indicator. When the basket is full, the airflow stops. If the airflow is too low, the level indicator returns to its idle state and this is an indication to empty the catcher box. Optimal airflow is required in order for the level indicator to function fully. External influences such as wet, dense or tall grass, a low cutting height, contamination, etc. may affect the airflow and the performance of the level indicator.

The easy-running wheels of our cordless lawn mowers are extremely robust and hard-wearing. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and perfect line holding during mowing.

Integrated cable strain relief

Carrying handles
