Our Crusher Bucket Hire FAQs

Learn more about our crusher bucket hire process below, and how Chippindale can help service your upcoming projects.

01 I’m interested in crusher bucket hire, what’s the process?

Once you’ve decided you’re interested in learning more about our crusher bucket hire, simply press “Enquire Now” next to the machinery you’re interested in. Don’t worry if you’re not sure that this is the right piece of machinery, as this is just an initial step to get in touch with us. We can give you a call or send an email (just let us know which you’d prefer), or you’re always more than welcome to drop into the depots between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Our team will happily discuss the different crusher bucket hire options if necessary, or if you know which machinery you need, that’s great too. At this point, we can also arrange any other plant hire equipment if it’s needed for your project, whether that’s an excavator for hire or completely separate machinery.

Once you’re happy with the solution, we can start the account set up process:

If you’re a new customer, we will need you to fill out a new account form. We will also need your ‘hired-in plant insurance’, or if you don’t have it, we can arrange HireSecure for an additional 20% charge. This takes around 1-2 days, but if you need to start your crusher bucket hire sooner, we will do our best.

Next, we will appoint your account manager, who will know every detail of your project and will be a phone call away throughout. Any issues, questions or requirements, they will be able to help.

Your crusher bucket for hire, along with any other equipment, will then be delivered on the arranged date. A trained engineer will calibrate the attachment for you and make sure everything is running smoothly.

Throughout your hire process, we can provide ‘live-hire’ reports, along with other useful invoicing and reporting features, to make life that bit easier when you’re on site.

When you’ve finished with your crusher bucket hire, simply give us a call and we will collect it. We understand that projects often run over, which is why we never set an end date for your hire. We will pause all charges, collect as soon as possible and then invoice accordingly.

02 What size crusher buckets are available to hire?

Our crusher bucket hire is available in two sizes for carriers between 5 and 20 tons.

The smaller crusher buckets in our hire range are designed to compliment excavators between 5 and 9 tonnes. They are better suited to smaller sites, yet still have extremely powerful crushing power. The compact design and low weight means these smaller crusher buckets excel when processing materials like rock, tile, concrete or glass, to name a few.

The larger of our crusher buckets for hire are compatible with 10 to 20 tonne excavators, ideal for crushing and recycling materials such as concrete, stone, rock or glass. This size is very tough and resilient, making it highly suitable for moving and processing high volumes of material.

03 What other excavator attachments can I hire?

Depending on the nature of your project, we have a wide range of excavator attachments that you can hire along with your crusher bucket hire. From hydraulic breakers to screening buckets, compactor plates and sheet pile drivers, we can help you to find the ideal solution for your site. If you know the function you require, but aren’t sure of the specific attachments you’ll need, this is something we can help with.
